Dear Colleagues,

The Azerbaijan Association of Dermatovenerologists (ADVA) was established to advance the fields of dermatovenerology and dermatocosmetology in Azerbaijan, while fostering unity and collaboration among professionals in these disciplines.

The primary mission of our Public Association is to support the continuous medical education of dermatovenerologists and dermatocosmetologists. We aim to facilitate the mastery of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods, promote scientific research, and establish robust scientific-practical relations with international colleagues. To achieve these goals, ADVA organizes comprehensive courses, training programs, symposia, conferences, and congresses featuring leading global experts and distinguished speakers.

In line with this mission, the 5th International Congress of ADVA will be held on June 19–20, 2026. The event will feature presentations from leading scientists representing more than 15 countries, with an expected attendance of 350–400 dermatovenerologists and dermatocosmetologists from Azerbaijan.

Language

The official languages are Azerbaijani and English. Simultaneous translation into Russian, English and Azerbaijani is available.

Climate

June marks the beginning of a hot and dry summer in Baku. Average daytime temperatures typically range around 26-28°C, while the Caspian Sea warms up to a comfortable 22-23°C. Rainfall is quite rare and sunny days are almost constant.
